scilab5解压后启动，中文Linux下菜单都是一个个小方格，可如下解决：

在scilab的目录下找到比如/scilab-5.0.2/thirdparty/java/lib/fonts/目录，在其中建立fallback目录，然后把系统的中文字体(在/usr/share/fonts/目录下找ukai.ttff或者uming.ttf或者比如文泉驿(wqy)的字体) 拷贝或者链接到该目录下。

比如在Fedora 9下，ukai.ttf位于cjkunifonts-ukai，用$SCILAB_DIR表示scilab的安装目录，则如下执行：

 打包下载(.zip)：（包括文档，源代码及编译后的程序，以及模拟动画）

一：操作
设定初值后，点“计算”按钮，则开始计算，同时绘图区同步显示运算过程。请耐心等待，待弹出提示"Data ready"后按“放映”即可观看动画。

偶然发现photoshop安装目录下有个matlab目录，原来photoshop提供了和matlab的整合，使得matlab中又多一个photoshop工具包。通过它可以在matlab中直接调用photoshop命令，从此可以通过matlab操作photoshop,处理的结果可在matlab和photoshop中预览。

Photoshop版本为CS3.

我的windows下没装matlab，故而无法实地测试，这里只把photoshop下的自述文件贴出：
